Dress status

There's good news and bad news...

The bad news is I tried on cloudberries and it wasn't a winner. It was a filmsy jersey material and didn't look great on me. It was ok....but not for $200 bucks.

The good news is I'm eyeing this dress from Ann Taylor Loft. I'm currently watching one on ebay. You can't tell from the picture but is navy blue with white polka dots. I like it's retro feel.

My wedding dress is in (it's actually a bridesmaid dress)but I haven't had time to call and make an appointment for a fitting. Here is a picture of it...but imagine it in ivory...with a big brown sash...and some sparkle.

Shopping for dresses

It's raining, raining, raining in I'm catching up on reading all my blogs and shopping for things I can't afford to buy.

Loving these three dresses at Anthropologie.... do you think any of them would make a good rehearsal dinner dress? I was hoping to find a dress that matched the wedding color scheme of blue and brown...but maybe that's a little over the top. Tell me your favorite.

Welcom Ryan James!

My good friends Charlotte and Randy were expecting in February.... but their son has a mind of his own!! Ryan joined us on December 18 in Tennessee where Charlotte was visiting family. He is only 3 lbs. but is breathing on his own and doing well.

Unfortunately Randy and Charlotte have been renovating their house for the last 6 months and it is far from finished. When Randy returns I think there is going to be a big push by all their family and friends to get the house ready for Ryan. Charlotte told me I'm the official designer =) and I have full authority to select paint colors. So it looks like I know what I'm doing after Christmas. =)

Congratulations Randy and Charlotte!!! I can't wait to meet Ryan and I can't wait to get his room (and his house) ready for his arrival!!
