My good friends Charlotte and Randy were expecting in February.... but their son has a mind of his own!! Ryan joined us on December 18 in Tennessee where Charlotte was visiting family. He is only 3 lbs. but is breathing on his own and doing well.
Unfortunately Randy and Charlotte have been renovating their house for the last 6 months and it is far from finished. When Randy returns I think there is going to be a big push by all their family and friends to get the house ready for Ryan. Charlotte told me I'm the official designer =) and I have full authority to select paint colors. So it looks like I know what I'm doing after Christmas. =)
Congratulations Randy and Charlotte!!! I can't wait to meet Ryan and I can't wait to get his room (and his house) ready for his arrival!!

Wow - that's a great photo. It puts life's little problems back into perspective.
Hope all goes well for the little guy and it helped me reflect on the important stuff (my friends & family) for the holidays.
